DILEMMA FOR CHRISTIANS

With all the controversial issues in today’s

politicized society, what are Christians to do?

Should we pursue the agenda of the religious

right dealing with abortion, homosexuality,

euthanasia, state-sponsored prayer in public

schools, teaching creationism in public school

science classes, posting the Ten Commandments

in public facilities, and stem cell research?  Or,

should we follow the lead of moderate Christians

who emphasize ministry to poor and helpless

segments of our society, stamping out social

injustices, protecting the environment,

providing equal opportunities for all citizens,

and eliminating other social ills afflicting our

nation?
